Fifty members of our group were the specially invited guests of Galipoli Mayor Cihat Bingol, at the municipality’s annual SARDINE FESTIVAL. Close to 1500 people from Canakkale and the surrounding areas attended the evening’s program. The spirituality of the music and Sema presented by the Contemporary Lovers of Mevlana made them the favorite of festival. VISIT TO GALIPOLI MEVLEVI MONASTERY For the third time our group made a visit to the Galipoli Mevlevi Monastery, the largest one in Turkiye. The restoration of the historic building is still going on, but we were told that it would be finished soon. Our Honoray President Hasan Çıkar told Mayor Cihat Bingol that our group is prepared to be of service in every way in order to bring new life to the monastery.
